Fire Weather Watch

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN MARYLAND, DELAWARE, AND
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the potential of enhanced fire spread, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening.
* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...in the 60s.
* IMPACTS...The combination of lowering fuel moisture, low relative humidity and gusty winds may contribute to the enhanced spread of fires.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur due to a combination of strong winds...low relative humidities...and dry fuels. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
