Monday Weather Advisory in Effect

Even though today's weather event will mostly be in the form of rain the ground temperature will remain below freezing. Therefore some road surfaces will become dangerous with ice within minutes of rain hitting the road surface. USE EXTREME CAUTION DRIVING TONIGHT AND FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE TOMORROW.

Winter Weather Update
Here we go again, folks! A wintry mix of precipitation is expected on Monday afternoon and Monday evening, affecting the evening commute. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1pm to 9pm Monday, January 8, 2018.
WHAT...A wintry mix of precipitation is expected. Periods of light freezing rain, sleet and snow are anticipated. Ice will likely accumulate on untreated roads and walkways. Also, there may be a few tenths of an inch of sleet and snow.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ice will likely create hazardous conditions on area roads and walkways. Icy conditions are expected to continue on Monday night and Tuesday morning as temperatures remain below freezing at most locations.
Leave extra time to commute home and take it slow!
