ATLANTIC CITY — Nine city officials and community leaders stood Thursday afternoon in the lobby of City Hall with linked arms to advocate making the city a "fair and welcoming city.”

coalition announced it is working on crafting an ordinance to protect
immigrants in the city and minimize fear of getting deported.
Councilman Moisse “Mo” Delgado said the immigration population in the city is “under attack” and it was up to city officials and community leaders to take a stand to advocate for new policy.
