In
response to the article we reposted from The Patch, concerning
Chromium-6 in Egg Harbor City water, as well as the information we got
from Environmental Working Group's (those who did the nationwide study)
website, Egg Harbor City Councilwoman Stefania Keuhner stated to us
that, "Jerry Gleason (the Utility Department superintendent) will give a
detailed report and answer any questions regarding this report and
address the public," at tonight's city council meeting.
This
article has the complete list of cities in NJ that have tested positive
for Chromium 6, known for causing cancer and liver problems, even in
small doses.
