EHC Response to Chromium 6 in Water

In response to the article we reposted from The Patch, concerning Chromium-6 in Egg Harbor City water, as well as the information we got from Environmental Working Group's (those who did the nationwide study) website, Egg Harbor City Councilwoman Stefania Keuhner stated to us that, "Jerry Gleason (the Utility Department superintendent) will give a detailed report and answer any questions regarding this report and address the public," at tonight's city council meeting.

This article has the complete list of cities in NJ that have tested positive for Chromium 6, known for causing cancer and liver problems, even in small doses.

Hammonton water also contains Chromium 6.  Mullica was not tested.
