Incumbent Mayor Lisa Jiampetti and her slate won the Democratic primary on Tuesday by a large margin in the county’s only local primary contest, virtually assuring them of re-election in November.
The unofficial tally with all six
voting districts in had Jiampetti with 451 and her challenger,
three-term Democratic Councilwoman Hazel Mueller, at 186.
