Mullica Township police say a 63-year-old man suffered head and arm injuries Wednesday morning after he was assaulted and restrained with adhesive tape during a home invasion.


Police said the man’s home was ransacked and undisclosed amount of electronic items were taken.
Officers responded at 8:13 a.m. to New Hampshire Avenue in the Sweetwater section of Mullica Township. The man who was assaulted told police his home was burglarized by one or two men and one woman at midnight, according to a statement issued by police.

The men and woman left the home. Hours later the victim was able to free himself and call for help, police said.
Police said the men and woman traveled in a Black or dark color 4-Door sedan similar to a Cadillac DeVille.
