— Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will hold a dedication ceremony
Sunday for the Spiros A. Malaspina Community Center.
The ceremony will start after the 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy Service at the church, 7004 Ridge Ave.
Malaspina served on the parish
council for about seven years, Rev. George Liacopulos said, adding that
Malaspina was a leader in the building of the community center in 2007.
In addition to his work with the
church former president of the Mullica Township School District Board of
Education. Malaspina died Sept. 1, 2014, at the age of 59 after a
seven-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
The Community Center opened in April 2007 and is home to Trinity Learning Center Preschool and Kindergarten.
