Mayor Brown reported the following:
June treasurer’s report was e-
mailed to all Committee members and will be included in the minutes of tonight’s meeting. Our 2015 tax rate is
4.197, up 4.8 cents overall from 2014. This does not include any potential changes due to the PILOT legislation
pending between the County and Atlantic City. The County rate increased 1.3 cents, and we were given credit
for the open space overcharge of $48,000 from 2014. The GEHR School District Tax rate decreased 1.3 cents,
the local school and municipality increased 2.4 cents each. Tax bills have been mailed and the due date for the 3 rd
quarter payment has been extended until September 4th
