Mullica Tax Sale

The Mullica tax sales have been published in today's Egg Harbor/Galloway Twp. News.  There are 197 properties listed with amounts owed ranging from $12,946 to $19.40.
The total in outstanding taxes owed to the township is $259,384.51

NOTICE is hereby given that I, Bert Cappuccio, Collector of Taxes in and for the Township of Mullica, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey, will on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2015 AT TEN O'CLOCK - A.M. in the morning of said day, in Town Hall, Elwood, N.J. expose for sale and sell the following described lands.

Said lands will be sold to make the amount of Municipal Liens chargeable against them for the 2014 Tax Year together with interest to date of sale.  Amount does not include 2015 lien.

The sale will be conducted in accordance with the Revised Statutes of 1937 of the State of New Jersey, Title 54, Chapter 5.

Payment may be made on any parcel prior to the Sale together with 2015 interest.  Only Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, or Cash will be accepted for payment of any Tax Sale.  An irrevocable letter of credit listing the credit line reserved in the amount will also be accepted.

Industrial Properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act ( N.J.S.A. 58:10-23.11 et seq.) the Water Pollution Control Act (N.J.S.A. 48:10A-1 et seq.), and the Industrial Site Recovery Act( N.J.S.A. 13:1K-6 et seq.)  In addition, the municipality is precluded from issuing a tax sale certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or operator of the site.

IN THE EVENT THE OWNER IS ON ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE MILITARY, THE COLLECTOR SHOULD BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY.
