Scam Alert

The following comment was posted on the MTPD FB page:

Today I received in the mail a cashiers check for $1650.00 in my name .It was for a secret shopper. With a description of what they wanted me to do. Go to Wal-Mart spend $100.00, and other stores. And western Union 975.00 dollars to "Someone" they tell you the name. Of course I laughed, So I called the number. Someone answered and I said I would like some info on this letter. So he explained everything to me. Told me to deposit the cashiers check into my checking account, Go about with what the letter says to do .And in 2-3 weeks I will receive $420.00 for being there Secret Shopper. I Just want to make everyone aware This is a Scam. I have the letter . It sounds So Good while you are reading it, looking at the check made out in your name....Beware it is a Scam. I told the Man who answered the phone I was going to Report him to My local Police and He Hung Up on Me!
