MULLICA TOWNSHIP _
Tom Baruffi, who retired in June after serving as superintendent of both
the Linwood School District and Mainland Regional High School, will be
hired tonight as interim superintendent in Mullica Township.
Baruffi will start Sept. 1 and be paid $596.15 per day, according to the agenda for tonight's Board of Education meeting.
He
replaces Superintendent Brenda Harring-Marro, who has taken a job as
principal of the K-1 Atco Elementary School in Waterford Township,
Camden County.
The
board decided to wait until three new board members join in January
before picking a permanent replacement for Harring-Marro. Three
incumbents are not running for re-election, and five candidates have
registered to run for the three open seats.
Tonight's meeting is at 7 p.m. in the school library at 500 Elwood Road.
