Police are looking
for the driver of a truck involved in a hit-and-run that injured a
pedestrian in Egg Harbor City on Tuesday night.
Apolinario
Coloch-Gonzalez, 28, of Egg Harbor City, was walking along the White
Horse Pike near Lincoln Park at about 8:10 p.m., when he was struck by a
vehicle that is believed to have been traveling east on the pike, Sgt.
Matt Landicini said.
Coloch-Gonzalez suffered significant injury to his left arm in the accident across from the Harbor City Diner.
The driver did not stop, instead continuing toward Galloway Township, according to the report.
The
vehicle is described as a black older-style pickup truck with a larger
trailer, believed to be an open-top landscape trailer.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen a truck fitting the description is asked to call police at 609-625-2700 or 911.
