Heavy Storms Are Coming


As of 2:18 p.m., National Weather Service radar showed a line of heavy thunderstorms moving across central Pennsylvania.
Heavy rain showers could reach South Jersey by 8 p.m. Monday, July 14. As of 2:30 p.m. they were positioned over central Pennsylvania and moving east./Weatherbell Analytics, www.weatherbell.com Advance radar imagery shows those storms could reach South Jersey around 8 p.m. this evening.
Heavy rain expected for South Jersey for tonight, Tuesday
The National Weather Service is forecasting between 2-3 inches of rain to fall across most of South Jersey during the next 36 hours.
The rain is expected to be heaviest during the late-afternoon and early evening hours of Tuesday, July 15.
The rain is expected to end on Wednesday morning when a cold front finally clears the coast.
