April Kauffman Insurance Lawsuit

Kimberly Pack, the daughter of slain Linwood radio host, April Kauffman has filed suit in federal court to stop her stepfather, Dr. James Kauffman from getting $600,000 in insurance money.

The suit is based on the so-called "Slayer Statute" that keeps those who commit murder from benefiting monetarily.

April Kauffman was found dead in her Linwood home May, 10, 2012.  No one has been charged in the case.  Dr. Kauffman's Lawyer said the doctor cooperated with the investigation and had no involvement in his wife's death.
