Flood Map Review

 Atlantic County is hiring the Coastal Research Center at Stockton College to review the Federal Flood Maps due to come out in July or August.
The maps will be the basis for Flood Insurance Rate maps due to come out in 2014.
These maps could call for elevating buildings.  They will also impact the ability of people to buy flood insurance policies or secure mortgages.
These maps could affect the Sweetwater area.
