Black Lab.

A report has been sent in that a large, Black Lab dog has been found roaming on Darmstadt Ave., Mullica Twp. N.J.
If you know of anyone looking for this dog,  please send an e-mail to www.gadfly01.blogspot @gmail.com with contact information or call the Mullica Police.  The dog is being cared for by a local resident until the owner can be found.
UPDATE -4/23/13 - It appears that the dog was a drop-off.  The owner has made no attempt to find this animal.  There have been no missing dog reports to the police, ASPCA, County Shelter, rescue groups and no flyers, or newspapers ads about a black lab. in the last ten days.  The dog had no collar or microchip and is now being given up for adoption.
Thank you to all the Gadfly readers who sent in tips and links to rescue groups in an effort to help.

UPDATE - 5/2/13 - It has been reported that through the work of a member of the Hammonton Police Dept., the owner of the Lab was joyfully reunited with his dog.  It appears that calls about the found dog were not matched up with reports of the lost dog in Mullica.   If you lose your animal, put a free ad in the Press.  Sometimes you can not depend on busy agencies or Departments, that change shifts all the time, to be your only source of help.
