The Municipal Transfer Station,"The Dump", and the Municipal Offices will be closed Monday, February 18, 2013 in observance of Presidents Day.
A rumor has been reported to the Gadfly that a person who is paid to pick up garbage has been dropping his collections at our "Dump". This is illegal and it costs the taxpayers of Mullica money to dispose of his collections. If you observe this activity, please report the name of the person,the plate number or the vehicle description to the Mullica Police or the Gadfly.

No person, contractor or commercial business shall be permitted to dispose of trash or any other items accepted for disposal at the transfer station for which the person,contractor or commercial business has been paid a disposal fee.
Bulk waste permits can be obtained through the Municipal Clerk's Office. This permit entitles residents up to six bulky waste disposals per calendar year.

Mullica Township is a Pine Barren community without a town newspaper or news letter, no televised or internet committee meetings and no press reporters at the meetings.
The Gadfly tries to fill the void by alerting the residents of meetings, events and articles of local interest from various sources. Most importantly, it gives a voice to the people. All residents are invited to share their opinions with anonymity or signed under each article posted.
Everyone is invited to send in articles of interest, announcements, letters of your concerns or opinions and even tips about what's going on in your neighborhood that needs investigation.
