MEDIA RELEASE- fatal motor vehicle collision
On today’s date at approximately 3:25pm a 911 call was received
reporting a two vehicle motor vehicle crash at Mossmill Road and
Darmstadt Avenue. Officers arrived to find two vehicles involved, a
sedan and a motorcycle. The sedan, a 2000 Toyota Camry, operated by a
Holly M. Jarrett, 22 yrs. old of Mullica Township was headed North on
Darmstadt Avenue when it collided with a Harley Davidson style
motorcycle driven by a Robert Young, 68
of Port Republic which was travelling West on Mossmill Road. Jarrett
and her passenger was uninjured. AtlantiCare E.M.S. responded and
rendered treatment to Young who was severely injured as a result of the
crash. Young was transported to Atlanticare Hospital where he later
succumbed to his injuries. The cause of this collision is under
investigation by Cpl. Lupinetti of the Mullica Township Police
Department. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information
