Fatal Crash On Nesco Road



MULLICA - A one- car crash left one person dead this morning along Nesco Road.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. along the 3400 block of Nesco Road, just south of Woodland Avenue.
Rescue workers worked for more than an hour to retrieve the victim's body. Mullica police are handling the scene.
A dog that was in the car was rescued and taken to a veterinarian.
The cause of the crash and the victim's identification were not immediately available.

Earlier today at approximately 5:45am officers were dispatched to the area of Nesco Road near Farmer John’s Market for a one vehicle motor vehicle crash. Officers arrived on the 3400 block of Nesco Road (Cy. Rt. 542) and discovered one vehicle off of the road, crashed into several trees. The vehicle a 2007 Cadillac CTS was operated by a Mr. Bradley N. Haber, 60 years old of Medford N.J. Mr. Haber was pronounced deceased at the scene. A small canine was also in the vehicle, the animal sustained minor injuries; the animal was transported by the police department to a local veterinarian for evaluation. The jaws of life were used by the Elwood and Nesco Fire Departments, the victim was trapped in the vehicle.
It is unclear as to why the crash occurred. We ask that any witnesses come forward and contact the Mullica Township Police Department at 609-561-7600 extension 121 or 125.
