Mullica Revaluation Letters Being Mailed
Letters advising property owners of their new assessments have been mailed. The value of your property is the estimate of the market value. Do NOT apply the 2018 tax rate to your new 2019 assessment to estimate your 2019 taxes. The 2019 tax rate will be different than the 2018 rate. If you agree with the value estimate, no further action is needed. If you would like to discuss your assessment with a representative, please call 1-609-396-1418 within 14 days upon receipt of your letter. Appointments will be held in the Township Hall at a mutually convenient date and time.

Any idea how much the total township assessment went up before appeals?
Im sure there will be a lot of appeals and rightly so since its all about how much money the govt organizations can suck out of the residents. Great timing about the notice by not only waiting till after the elections but also making sure that our outgoing officials who voted for this wont have to answer the public at further meetings.That is if the public even cares enough to complain
Our last reval was done somewhere around 95-97. It cost 100's of thousands of dollars & kept being postponed. It should be done around every 5 yrs from what I heard. This reval was required by law. The Committee had no choice but to comply with the County who will apply the new rate. I'm assessed over double from what I was and can only hope the new rate will allow me to survive here.
