1:00 p.m. Green Bank Bridge in Egg Harbor City is also closing per Linda Gilmore of the Atlantic County government.
12:45 p.m.: The Lower Bank Bridge which spans the Mullica River between Atlantic County and Burlington County is now closed to motorists as a result of roadway flooding, according to Public Information Officer for Atlantic County Linda Gilmore. Motorists should seek alternate routes and are reminded not to drive through flood waters.

Some
areas of the township received over 3 inches of rain in the past few
days, more is to come this week along with possibly being affected by
Hurricane Florence late weekend. If you live along the Mullica River,
now is the time to secure any loose items around the yard. All
residents should prepare for the POSSIBILITY of additional rain and
power outages or flooding in prone areas. Monitor your local media
sources through out the week for weather updates.
