Nesco Fire Chief Carmen Merlino, III R.I.P.

It is with deep regrets, sadness, and heavy hearts the Nesco Volunteer Fire Company announces the sudden passing of Chief Carmen Merlino III. Chief Merlino III was a member of the department for 27 years, he loved serving his community. Chief Merlino III will be missed by many. Rest in Peace Chief and thank you for your service to our department and community. Arrangements are still being made and will be shared as soon as they are available. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carmens family during this difficult time.

The driver of a small utility truck is dead after a rollover crash in Camden County.

It happened before 12 a.m. Saturday at Chew Road and Sandy Causeway in Waterford Township.

Action News is told the small truck went out of control and flipped over in a farm field.

When police arrived they found the body of the victim under the vehicle.

There was no immediate word what may have caused that driver to lose control
