The U.S. Supreme Court decision to strike down a federal ban on sports betting was welcomed news Monday in Atlantic City and Trenton, where officials in both cities are preparing to score big by capitalizing on a soon-to-be regulated industry.

Monday, the high court ruled that the 1992 Professional and Amateur
Sports Protection Act was unconstitutional, paving the way to allow
legal wagering on professional and collegiate athletics at New Jersey's
casinos and racetracks.
