Alvin Mathis R.I.P.

Mathis, Alvin, - 86, of Sweetwater, formerly of Tuckerton NJ and Port Richey FL. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born in Tuckerton, NJ on 6/24/1931  . Alvin was a Lifetime Member of the Tuckerton First Aid Squad and West Tuckerton Fire Company. He was also a trustee of the Greenwood Cemetery. Alvin was a bridge operator for 25 years for the State of NJ Department of Transportation, and he served in the US Army during the Korean War. There will be a viewing held on Monday May 7th, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Tuckerton 126 N. Green Street Tuckerton NJ 08087 from 10-12 with a service at noon. Following the service there will be an entombment at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Brian Maxwell Lic. No. 3834
