Frank M. McGloin R.I.P.


McGloin, Frank M., - 84, of Mullica Township, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in 1933 in Chatham Canada. He was just a young boy when he lost his parents and moved to Monroe, Michigan to be raised by his Uncle Pat and Aunt Sadie. As a young man he travelled to California and joined the US Marine Corp. While there he met his sweetheart, Rosemarie, and started a family. He was a veteran of the Korean War and reached the rank of Sgt. (E-5) Drill Instructor before being honorably discharged in 1960. He moved his family to New Jersey where he worked for Boeing Aircraft as an electronics specialist. After many years at Boeing, he left to start work as a painter/paper hanger and carpenter. In his spare time he was an avid bowler, made furniture in his younger years and loved having a beer and manning the barbeque with family and friends. He was a member and later President of the Fourth Ward Sportsman's Club in Atlantic City and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent Pallotti Council 3471 and St. Vincent Pallotti Assembly 680.

  A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, where family and friends may gather from 10 AM until the time of the Mass.
