A grand jury returned an
indictment this week against three of four men and boys who escaped from
the Harborfields Youth Detention Center in November after they
overpowered a youth detention officer and stole a guard’s car, Atlantic
County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said Friday.
Michael
Huggins, 19, of Bridgeton, Cumberland County; Stephine Woodley, 18, of
Brotmanville, Salem County; and Raymir Lampkin, 16, of Atlantic City,
were indicted Thursday on multiple charges including escape and
conspiracy, robbery and conspiracy, resisting arrest and weapons
charges.
The charges are the most serious and carry potential sentences of five to 10 years in prison if the defendants are convicted.
