Wednesday - Rain & Snow

EARLY SNOW THOUGHTS: Here's the thing. If you take NJ as a whole, SE Jersey likely gets the MOST liquid when you combine the rain or snow, but we also have the most potential to get the MOST rain! There will be a sweet spot somewhere, but it likely won't be here. This will be a more classic Nor'Easter. I-95 is the rain/snow line (more or less), with those to the NW seeing more snow and those to the SE seeing more rain.
I'm not expecting a foot anywhere in South Jersey, but at least a few inches and school closings sound like a good bet in Buena, Hammonton or Upper Deerfield. Here's what we do know.
TIMING: This will pretty much be all day Wednesday. The morning will see more rain, while the afternoon and evening see more snow.
HOW THE STORM FORMS: I alluded it above, but it will start as rain. As the rain turns heavier, colder air will get pulled down to the surface and turn it into snow. How soon and where first is the question.
TYPE OF SNOW: This be some good ole' Jersey snow, heavy and wet!
WINDS: Gusts will top out at 35-45 mph. This is not as strong as the last storm. However, the last storm already put strain on the beaches, trees and power lines. Don't be surprised to see a few wind issues with this.
