State of Emergency Begins at 8:00pm

In preparation for tonight’s storm, I am declaring a state of emergency statewide beginning at 8 p.m.

We are particularly concerned w/ Hunterdon, Morris, Sussex and Warren counties, which are still reeling from this past weekend’s .

A Code Blue in Atlantic County has been issued for Wednesday, according to Atlantic County Office of Emergency Preparedness. 
The Code Blue is issued ahead of Wednesday's Nor'Easter. 
A Code Blue is instituted when temperatures will reach 25 degrees or lower without precipitation or 32 degrees or lower with precipitation. It is intended to assist municipalities in protecting citizens who may live outdoors, in poorly insulated settings and are at risk for weather-related exposure and possible death, according to the county.
