JUST CAME ACROSS THIS.....Do you know why the Omnibus is not going to get any notice…Here it is..
It’s not an official ‘Federal Budget’. It’s an Omnibus bill…not a Budget…He outsmarted them again…Congress basically screwed themselves by not passing a Budget…
Per the Constitution…the President must adhere to a Budget set forth by Congress and direct the expenditures as provided therein.
This is another one of those big Porkulus Bills, like they gave Obama for 8 years. This is not a Budget..
An Omnibus Spending Bill may have some ‘instructions’ as to how the money will be spent…but Obama ignored them.
He spent the money, or didn’t spend it, however he wanted to.
And Congress didn’t do a thing about it! Because they couldn’t..
I think our President observed how this happened, year after year.
He is bound to realize that those ‘appropriations’ for different things in these Omnibus bills…are merely ‘suggestions’.
So like Obama, Pres Trump can spend this money on whatever he wants to.
Or…not spend it.
Planned Parenthood?
What if our President decided to tell the Treas Dept to ‘slow-walk’ that money to Planned Parenthood…until the Senate gets off their ass and confirms his appointees?
Sanctuary Cities?
What if our President decided to ‘slow-walk’ that money too…until those Sanctuary Cities assist ICE in rounding up criminal illegal aliens?
Splodey heads? From the Dems and the Enemedia?

There would be a colorful display of splodey heads.
But what could they do about it.

Our President could just say…’What! Congress should’ve passed a Budget.’
done finished…research was done…and it is so very humorous actually….our VSG..just said just give me money for the military and the wall…put anything else you want in it…and those goofballs did.
In this case, as per above….he doesn’t have to spend a dime….because it is not a budget…and even if it was…researched….he could still spend as he please…
Congress appropriates….up to the President to spend it…or not….as he pleases..
If anyone disagrees, I can go back and get the links and evidence, but if you just read yesterdays political thread…Wheatietoo and I laid it all out for all…Wheatietoo did most of the work and put together the consolidated update as per above….
Again, that is why Obama never had a Budget in his Presidency…Congress did continual Omnibus’s and he just took the money….for 8 years…and no one seems to know where it went…

Because of the $700 & $716 Billion Dollars gotten to rebuild our Military, many jobs are created and our Military is again rich. Building a great Border Wall, with drugs (poison) and enemy combatants pouring into our Country, is all about National Defense. Build WALL through M!
Much can be done with the $1.6 Billion given to building and fixing the border wall. It is just a down payment. Work will start immediately. The rest of the money will come - and remember DACA, the Democrats abandoned you (but we will not)!

Guess what military outfit is housed under the DoD?
👉🏻The US Army Corps of Engineers. The military guys who BUILD things like dams or...WALLS. Are we getting THE WALL?Is it possible that knowing the Democrats will never pass the money for building the wall, will Trump now use the extra discretionary military funding to build the whole wall under National Defense guidelines? This will also remove the DACA as a bargaining chip for the Democrats.

Trump’s nod to military involvement is significant because among the omnibus bill’s military funding is $654.6 billion to continue the global fight against terrorism.

But the House Armed Services Committee version of the annual Pentagon policy bill included a common-sense provision to make sure the Pentagon isn't tasked with paying for the wall: "Section 1039. Rule of construction regarding use of Department of Defense funding of a border wall. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this act or otherwise made available for the fiscal year 2018 for the Department of Defense may be used to plan, develop or construct any barriers, including walls or fences, along the international border of the United States."
An amendment was offered by Republican Reps. Steven Palazzo and Trent Kelly from Mississippi to strike Section 1039.
On the House floor, the vote on the full rule passed. And at the end of a long and exhausting day (and story), that means Pentagon money can be used to construct a border wall.

If Trump pulls this off and the wall becomes included in the military budget Trump is by far the biggest political genius of all time.

The best thing about having the military build the wall is that now when protesters try and go full-on commie and try to stop the building of the wall by getting violent, there will be much harsher consequences. They will be seen as attacking the US military instead of a private contract crew of builders. This might be part of what Trump was thinking as well.
If this is true, we are going to see the spontaneous combustion of Schumer & Pelosi on live TV. Get the popcorn ready!
Now this makes sense to me. We are already paying the salaries of the Army Corp of Engineers, so that would save billions in construction costs. Orders for a couple of thousand miles of American steel would bring back our steel industry and employ thousands. I want to be a believer.
I would've said this is wishful thinking for Trump fans but his tweet has me wondering if he has a plan.
Ann Coulter suggested on TV that Trump could actually do this.
So Trump's people were working on this last summer by getting rid of Section 1039. No wonder he told the dems to put anything they wanted in the Bill & he would sign it. The dems are doing their happy dance that they got all their pork & basically blocked the wall. Now it appears that Trump got all his military money + all the wall money & he will be in no rush to fund the dem pork & the dems lost their DACA bait. That's what I would call "The Art of the Deal".
