Free Rita's Italian Ice on Tuesday

We may not be out of the woods yet on the nor'easter front, but spring is nearly here. To celebrate the (eventual) departure of ice and snow and the first day of spring, Rita's is offering a sweeter kind of slush with its annual Italian ice giveaway.
The free ice day returns on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. From noon to 9 p.m., you can stop by your local Rita's for one free Italian ice.
The frozen dessert chain, which has been giving away free Italian ice on the first day of spring for more than 20 years, says it gave away about one million cups of Italian ice in the same nine-hour period last year.
