Nor'Easter Tonight

Clouds will then continue to thicken overnight, ahead of our storm system. Thursday morning will be dry, but bring the umbrella. Rain showers will develop between 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., from the shores of the Delaware Bay for Long Beach Island.
The worst of the rain will be from the afternoon commute Thursday until early Friday morning. We should then see more dry time than not on Friday morning. As low pressure stalls off the Jersey Shore, scattered areas of rain will fall Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Even Saturday afternoon can see a shower.

Coastal flooding will be a threat from the Friday morning to Sunday afternoon high tides, centering on Saturday. The Atlantic Ocean shores will have it worse than the Delaware Bay. Additionally, isolated roadway and creek flooding is expected, with a half to one inch of rain anticipated.
Winds will also be an issue. Gusts will be in the 30s on the Mainland and 40s at the Jersey Shore on Friday and Saturday.
