The 13th annual Lines on the Pines event, which started book signing event for Pinelands authors and has evolved into a full-blown festival of Pinelands life, will be at Stockton University this year for the first time, organizers said.
It follows by one day the Pinelands Commission's Short Course on the Pinelands, set for March 10 at Stockton.
The
free Lines on the Pines event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 11 provides a
chance to meet more than 90 'Pine Barrens Celebrities' and 20 authors,
who will share stories and tales. It also includes artists and crafters,
filmmakers, childrens' activities, music, and food, according to its
organizer the nonprofit It’s a Sign of the Pines.
There will be a guided walking tour around Lake Fred with local historians, and a viewing of the South Jersey documentary, "John Hart: Portrait of a Patriot."
