MAYS LANDING — The Cedar Creek High School girls swimming team added to its best season ever on Wednesday, beating Oakcrest 94-76 in a key Cape-Atlantic League National Conference dual meet at the George L. Hess Educational Complex.
Cedar
Creek’s Lauren Kelly, Elizabeth Briles and Marlee Canale each had two
individual wins and were part of the winning 200 medley and 400
freestyle relay teams.
Cedar
Creek is 5-0 with all its wins in the National Conference. The Pirates
can win their first conference championship 3:45 p.m. Jan. 25 at Middle
Township at the Cape May County Special Services Pool.
Middle is 4-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Middle Township swims at Oakcrest 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Hess Complex.
If Middle beats Oakcrest, the Cedar Creek-Middle meet will be winner-take-all for the National title.
