Mullica Police Blotter Nov.1st - 28th

Department of Public Safety:
Ms. Rheault reported calls for service from November 1
st
to 28
th
totaled 1304
and gave the following stats: alarm burglary 17; alarm fire 6; burglary 2; death 1; domestic 7; ambulance 59;
fire 4; missing persons 3; motor vehicle accidents 25; motor vehicle stops 392; and theft 6. Ms. Rheault reported
on
Tuesday November 21
st
two 17 year old Mullica children were reported missing to the police department.
After an extensive effort by multiple members of the Mullica Twp. Police Department, family of the missing
and supporters on social media the two were located in California.
Both are now safe and sound, they have
been reunited with their parents. Ms. Rheault also reported on November 16
th
, officers were summoned to 3635
Nesco
Road for a call of a person that fell into a hole in the rear yard of a home.
Officers arrived and found the
homeowner conscious and alert complaining of severe back pain in the bottom of an old abandoned septic tank
approximately 10 feet underground.
On behalf of the Police Department Ms. Rheault extended thanks to
Atlanticare E.M.S. along with the Elwood, Nesco and Hammonton Fire Departments, Atlantic City Fire
Department's Confined Space Rescue Team and Hammonton Fire Department who participated in the confined
space rescue.
The Mullica Township Police Department would like to thank all that were involved in this
rescue.
The event required a great deal of technical skill and patience to remove the victim safely
