The
Batsto Citizens Committee, Inc. will hold its Annual Country Living
Fair at Historic Batsto Village in Wharton State Forest on Sunday,
October 15, 2017.
The event is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no cost to attend the fair. The State of New Jersey will charge a nominal fee of $5.00 / vehicle to park at the Batsto Village site. Signs along Route 542 will help guide motorists to designated parking areas. Shuttle van service is planned from a Bulltown Road site.
The Committee has invited more than 130 exhibitors to participate in this daylong event. Visitors will have an opportunity to see and purchase a variety of Country, Colonial and Victorian crafts. They will also be able to meet talented crafters demonstrating their artistry in a wide assortment of materials.
Pre-World War II cars will be on display and old-time steam engines, antiques, and pony rides will help make this an event of special interest to people of all ages. The Renegade Cloggers will once again perform throughout the day. It is hoped that Smokey Bear will make an appearance along with the NJ Forest Fire Service truck. Local service
