SPECIAL MASTER PLAN MEETING

Proposed Mullica Township Master Plan Amendments
Notice is hereby given that the Governing Body and the Planning Board of the Township of Mullica will hold a Special Joint Meeting to conduct a public hearing beginning at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, to consider adoption of:
  • a Master Plan Revision for the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan to address the Township’s affordable housing obligation in accordance with and pursuant to Southern Burlington County NAACP v. Township of Mt. Laurel, 67 N.J. 151 (1975), Southern Burlington County NAACP, et al v. Township of Mt. Laurel, 92 N.J. 158 (1983), the Fair Housing Act, N.J.S.A. 52:27D-301 et seq. and its implementing regulations.
The public hearing will be held at the Mullica Township Municipal Building, 4528 White Horse Pike, Elwood, NJ. Public comments will be taken during the public hearing on the above-referenced proposed Master Plan Revision.  Actions may be taken by the Governing Body and the Planning Board following the public hearing regarding the adoption of the proposed Master Plan Revision.

Copies of the proposed Master Plan Revision will be on file and available for inspection at least 10 days prior to the date of the hearing in the Office of the Municipal Clerk located at the Mullica Township Municipal Offices, 4528 White Horse Pike, Elwood, NJ, Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Copies of the proposed Master Plan Revision referenced above are also available on the Township’s website, www.mullicatownship.org.  Kimberly Johnson, RMC
