Rutgers
Professor and Author, Ken Able will be our guest speaker on Saturday,
August 26th. He will share with us the history of how US Coast Guard
Station No 119 has gone from saving lives to saving the marine and
estuarine environment. The presentation starts at 12 noon and is open to
the public. The museum is located at 3410 Nesco Road in Nesco.
Estuarine Environment is salt marshes, mangrove forests, mud flaps, tidal streams, reefs, rocky intertidal shores, and barrier beaches. This is going to be an interesting speaker.
