Christie Least Popular NJ Governor

The NBC 4 New York/Marist Poll, released Friday, showed Christie's approval rating among Garden State adults at a mere 16 percent as he enters the final six months of his final term as governor.
By comparison, 73 percent -- including 58 percent of Christie's fellow Republicans -- disapprove of his job performance.
That's similar to recent polls that put Christie's rating at 15 percent -- a mark that makes him the least popular governor in state history.

The poll was conducted via phone from July 13 to 18 with 895 New Jersey residents 18 years and older. The margin of error was plus-or-minus 3.3 percentage points.
