EGG HARBOR CITY – To celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, the city honored deceased veterans of the United States Armed Forces with a parade on Philadelphia Avenue followed by a ceremony in Lincoln Park.
The parade included a number of marching units headed by an honor guard from Rudolph Elmer American Legion Post 158. The Cedar Creek High School Pirate Marching Band provided musical entertainment along the route.
Eighteen year old Cedar Creek HS senior Corey Critelli of Mullica Township sings the National Anthem.
Seventeen year old Lauren Stollenwerk, a Cedar Creek HS senior from Mullica Township plays taps during the ceremony.
