High School Scholarships

Each year the Atlantic County Council of Education Associations (ACCEA), which represents over 7,000 Atlantic County education professionals, awards 3-$1,500 Scholarships to Atlantic County students graduating from public high schools.
In 2011 the scholarship program award amount was increased to $1,500, and rather than seniors planning to become teachers/educators, eligibility was extended to other areas of education (for example, School Social Worker, Psychologist, Speech Therapist, etc.).
EXPECTATION: Two $1,500.00 scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to attend a 4-year college/university and enter any field of professional education. One $1,500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to attend Atlantic Cape Community College. These recipients will receive their awards upon completion and verification of the 2017 Fall Semester.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE April 4, 2017. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility.
Applications are available at student's high school guidance offices OR can be downloaded by visiting: www.acceanews.org and clicking the link for the ACCEA SCHOLARSHIP.
