Gov. Chris Christie is taking another role with Donald Trump's administration.
Later
this week Trump is expected to announce an official drug commission to
fight opioid abuse, something Trump mentioned regularly while
campaigning, according to a Washington Post report.
Christie
has already been working with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner on the
issue informally for several weeks, according to the report.
The report didn't give details on how much work would be involved and whether Christie would step down as governor.
In his last year as governor, Christie has put a major focus on fighting opioid abuse in New Jersey.
Christie will host his monthly radio show at 7 p.m. Monday night.

Trump has enough problems. The last thing he needs is this failure anywhere near him or his administration.
