GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — A 35-year-old man who was struck by a car and killed Monday while walking on Chris Gaupp Drive.
Thomas G. Langolis, whose last known address was in Elwood, Mullica Township, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
It was the fourth pedestrian fatality in Galloway in the past five months.
Langolis
was walking in the road just after 5:30 p.m. Monday when he was hit by a
Toyota Camry driven by Bhavin Raval, 27, of Galloway, police said in a
statement.
The driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured, police said.
No charges have been issued, and the case remains under investigation.
Chris Gaupp Drive, located between Garfield Avenue and Route 30, was closed for about three hours while police investigated.
