Well, it appears as though Santa Claus won’t be the only one stepping it up this weekend. The State Police will have more than 80 additional troopers on patrol through the Christmas weekend.
The additional personnel will be patrolling from 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 23rd to 6:00a.m. Tuesday, December 27th. With an expected increase in holiday traffic, the supplemental details will put an emphasis on crash reduction and DWI enforcement.
