Christie's Book Deal Could Cost Us $10 Million+

The salary raises included in Christie's bill to allow him to get a book deal would cost the taxpayers of NJ $ 10 million + in 2017, $14 million + in 2018.

More than 700 public officials may get raises, as part of proposed legislation that would permit Gov. Chris Christie to make money by writing a book while still in office.

I understand his popularity rating is now about 18% . Just about tied with Jim Florio for last place. He deserves it . We had a huge gas and heating oil tax increase, a costly capitol building makeover approved and now these salary hikes just to get his book writing approved. It was also revealed the AC takeover czars firm is getting $400 per hour for its AC work.He fooled a lot of voters didn't he?
