Tom Sandman Dead At 79

SANDMAN , THOMAS R., - 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 15, 2016 in Mullica Twp., N.J. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Madeline A. Sandman. He is survived by his daughter Madeline Gilanyi (Brian), grandchildren Amanda Baker (Vincent), Thomas Gilanyi (Julia), and Samantha Gilanyi, great grandchildren Alexander and Payton, and his beloved cats. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 20 from 10-11 a.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, N.J. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery (formerly known as Odd Fellows Cemetery), Medford, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Fund at The Nghiem Lab at University of Washington MerkelCell.org/donate.
