Under this new administration, millions of Americans (the disabled, the working poor, the unemployed, retired seniors) are expected to lose their medical coverage and to go bankrupt in the process. Can't afford your medical insurance any longer and you lose the right to have your pre-exiting medical conditions covered any longer, even if you can afford and buy coverage again later.
If you have a dire medical issue, you're out of luck. Newly insured and you'll have to wait 18 months to get your treatment partially paid by insurance for pre-conditions, if you can find an insurance company willing to charge you exorbitant premiums.
Social Security is next on the chopping block. Like in the good, old days, when America was "great".
If you and your own family are protected, who cares about anyone else anyway? That's all that matters in this place anymore, right? A nation that is increasingly becoming divided between the haves and have-nots.
America was a good experiment that lasted a lot longer than many other democratic republics. It might be coming to its end faster than we could ever imagine.
When most Americans said that the United States was headed in the wrong direction, this is not what they wanted for this country.
