UPDATE -  Cubs win game 5
For the first time in their history, the Chicago Cubs played a game on Oct. 30.
Thanks to a 3-2 victory over the Indians in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night at Wrigley Field, the Cubs are alive to play again this season as they pulled to within 3-2 of Cleveland in the best-of-seven series. Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Cleveland.
Kris Bryant drilled his first home run of the series while Addison Russell and David Ross—playing in his final game at Wrigley Field in his career—also knocked in runs.
Jon Lester allowed two runs on four hits with no walks and five strikeouts over six innings to earn the victory. Aroldis Chapman recorded eight outs to earn the save. Trevor Bauer suffered the loss after yielding three runs in four innings of work.
