Special Summer Solstice

On June 20th a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event is to occur when we experience the Full Moon simultaneously with the Summer Solstice – an event which hasn’t happened in 70 years.
 At 6:34 PM EDT the sun will stand still at its northernmost point as seen from Earth, ushering in the day of the year with the most sunlight, and technically the first official day of summer. In New York City, there will be 15.05 hours of daytime.
