Severe Storm Warning

A developing cluster of strong to severe storms now over central Maryland and southern Pennsylvania is expected to track to the east-southeast this afternoon, approaching South Jersey by mid to late afternoon.  The potential time of impact in South Jersey is after 3 p.m..

Atlantic City Electric warned customers that they may lose power Tuesday night during an approaching thunderstorm storm that could bring heavy winds, hail, lightning, and possibly an isolated tornado.

The electric company is asking for customers to report any outages and said they will be working throughout the night to remedy any problems. Atlantic City Electric may request the help of the electric companies from Philadelphia, Baltimore or Chicago.
