Maryanne Barry, Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit is Donald Trump's sister.
Barry, appointed to the United
States District Court for the District of New Jersey by President Ronald
Regan in 1983, rose to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in 1999 under
President Bill Clinton.
In a March 2016 piece, the Washington Post noted Barry has built a reputation as a centrist mainstream Republican and is well regarded by legal observers.
